Home Prices - Coral Springs v Port St Lucie

While introducing a potential home buyer to a Port St Lucie home builder,  the Sales Representative indicated that a large number of their buyers are coming from Coral Springs.

Here’s some to the reasons he gave as to why many buyers are looking to make that move:

Coral Springs and Port St. Lucie are less than 90 minutes apart, but they are different in some ways. One big difference is the cost of living, which is how much money people need to live comfortably in a certain area.

In general, Coral Springs has a way higher cost of living than Port St. Lucie. This means that things like housing, groceries, and other expenses can be way more expensive in Coral Springs than in Port St. Lucie.

For example, the average price of a house in Coral Springs is almost 35% higher than the average price of a house in Port St. Lucie. This means that if someone wants to buy a house in Coral Springs, they might need to pay more money than if they were buying a house in Port St. Lucie.

However, both cities have some things in common. For example, they have the same Dunkin, Publix, Walmart: but Port St Lucie is ideally located to surrounding cities like Palm Beach, Melbourne, Orlando, and Broward County, for that matter.

So, if you are thinking about living in either Coral Springs or Port St. Lucie, keep that in mind, and you might also want to consider the cost of living and how much money you will need to live comfortably.

But it’s a no-brainer decision if you have the luxury of working from home. Then again, tens of thousand of new residents have arrived since Covid and the job situation has significantly improved too.
